before the world recession came to fruition. In retrospect, some of these signs were very obvious while others were more subtle. How can we ensure that going forward these signs are recognized and addressed? How will the world economies cooperate in doing this?
China, the world’s third largest economy, has emerged first and strongest from the financial crisis. The goal of the Halter Financial Summit “China in a Changing World” is to explore how China was able to cope and then thrive when the rest of the world was struggling in the recent recession and what role China will play in the Global economy going forward.
Our keynote speaker, The Honorable George W. Bush will give you his presidential view of current world events;former United States Secretary of the Treasury Mr. John Snow will give remarks on the world economy;former US Ambassador to China, Senator James Sasser will give his view of Sino-US relations; economist and China expert Professor Pieter Bottelier will have a spirited dialogue with Dr. Zhang Tao to discuss China's changing role in the world economy; the heads of major exchanges will be gathering to talk about how they plan to interact with Chinese companies; and bankers, fund managers and deal makers from around the globe will be there contributing their thoughts and ideas about how Chinese companies can take advantage of the increasing world demand to invest in China.
If you are interested in doing business with or investing in China, our summit will provide you valuable insight from a global perspective and leave you better prepared on how to view China in this changing world. |
